At the beginning of July, we had the pleasure of returning to the O-Train Project extension in Ottawa to lead a training session dedicated to Alstom maintenance teams..
Organized over three days, this session was conducted in close cooperation with our client Mass Elec (Kiewit group) and our local partner Emspec.
Following an initial line visit carried out last year with Mass Elec teams, this new stage aimed to support Alstom maintenance teams in taking charge of Galland solutions: equipment, tensioning devices, pendulums, connections, section insulators, not forgetting the rigid catenary (PAC).
In partnership with Emspec, Galland supplied all the overhead line equipment for the City of Ottawa's light rail transit system extension (O-Train Stage 2), an additional 27 km, including:
- an eastern segment of 12.5 km of double track,
- a 14.5 km western segment of double track, including a 3.4 km tunnel.
We are very proud to contribute to this major project and to put our expertise to work for sustainable mobility in Ottawa. These training sessions also strengthen our trusting relationships with our partners.
