The Orléans TRAM is born
After 18 years of operation, the company KEOLIS, in charge of infrastructure maintenance, carried out the rehabilitation work on the catenary suspension elements (anchor slings, console stays, delta suspensions). It opted for a stainless steel solution developed by the GALLAND Company to replace the old synthetic cable parts.
Already installed on many France tramways as well as abroad, this solution, composed of stainless steel cables with bar insulator and crimped end caps, provides better resistance to UV rays and avoids the problems of elongation of synthetic cables due to temperature variations and their elasticity.
These sets are made to length according to the assembly books and assembled in the factory, thus saving time during assembly on site.
