The Konya tramway project in Turkey marks a new milestone in the development of our range of overhead contact line cantilever assemblies. Developed to meet the expectations of a market where composite cantilever assemblies are widely used, this solution complements our long-standing range of galvanized steel and aluminium products.
A proven solution for a demanding environment
The first version of this composite system, installed in 2006 on line 6 of the Tunis tramway, has been in operation for almost twenty years. The location of this infrastructure, in a coastal area, now provides valuable feedback and demonstrates the reliability and durability of the solution.
A cantilever configuration adapted to the project requirements
The Konya project led our Engineering Department to further develop this solution based on the project's technical specifications. From design and technical discussions with the customer to the mechanical testing campaign and visits to our partners, every stage was carried out with one objective: to provide a solution perfectly tailored to the network's requirements.
