June 24 and 25, 2026, Galland SAS has been selected to participate in the 3rd Innovation Seminar for the Railway Industry, organized by Santiago Metro. This event has become an essential meeting place for rail transport stakeholders in Latin America, bringing together operators, manufacturers and suppliers around the technologies that will shape the networks of tomorrow.
On this occasion, Galland had the opportunity to share its expertise in the field of overhead contact lines by presenting two of its innovative solutions: AERO, its oleo-pneumatic tensioning device, and its insulated supports for rigid overhead contact lines. This presentation highlighted the performance, reliability, and advantages of these technologies for metro network modernization and expansion projects.
This participation also provided an opportunity to exchange ideas with the technical teams of Metro de Santiago, as well as with numerous international operators and partners present at the seminar. Discussions focused on the challenges of maintenance, infrastructure availability, digitalization, and innovation in the service of more efficient and sustainable mobility.
