The Bordeaux Metropolis has informed us of its desire to equip the line that will serve Bordeaux Mérignac airport with our oleopneumatic tensioning device: AERO.
During its presentation at the SIFER trade fair in October 2021, the Bordeaux transport equipment and heritage department was convinced by the solution. This was achieved with the installation of the first 2 AEROs on the night of October 6 with the assistance of ETF, the installer in charge of the work.
On this section of line 15 Aéro will be installed. The collaboration with the Bordeaux Metropolis does not stop there. Indeed, after discussions involving the operator Kéolis, it was decided to implement the latest version of the AERO monitoring system, presented a few weeks earlier at Innotrans 2022. It will make it possible to closely monitor the LAC and, in the event of abnormal behavior, to generate alerts.
The city of Bordeaux is thus joining the increasingly wide circle of AERO users in France.
Today, no fewer than 11 French cities have chosen to equip themselves with this innovative and monitored tensioning device.
