The president of the region, Alain Rousset, accompanied by the regional prefect, Étienne Guyot, Carole Desnost, Director of Technologies, Innovation and Projects for the SNCF group, as well as many other elected officials from the region, met on May 23 for the laying of the foundation stone of the Ferrocampus in Saintes.
Ferrocampus, a new innovation and training center dedicated to the railway industry, aims to train 900 students per year, some of whom attend a free public engineering school. A large showroom will be made available to future students to familiarize them with their future professional environment.
To supply this exhibition hall, the company Galland, through its design office, designed an infrastructure composed of aluminum fittings, an AERO oleopneumatic tensioning device, a section insulator, as well as numerous parts illustrating its know-how.
A partner of Ferrocampus since its inception, Galland was honored to be associated with this event. Galland's participation in youth training is a core value for our company, and we are proud to contribute to the future of our youth.
