{"id":59701,"date":"2025-09-16T09:56:58","date_gmt":"2025-09-16T09:56:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/galland-sas.com\/?p=59701"},"modified":"2025-09-16T10:02:48","modified_gmt":"2025-09-16T10:02:48","slug":"mission-ottawa-former-les-equipes-avec-des-solutions-galland","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/galland-sas.com\/en\/mission-ottawa-former-les-equipes-avec-des-solutions-galland\/","title":{"rendered":"Mission Ottawa, training teams with Galland solutions."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At the beginning of July, we had the pleasure of returning to the O-Train Project extension in Ottawa to lead a training session dedicated to Alstom maintenance teams.<strong>.<\/strong><br>Organized over three days, this session was conducted in close cooperation with our client Mass Elec (Kiewit group) and our local partner Emspec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following an initial line visit carried out last year with Mass Elec teams, this new stage aimed to support Alstom maintenance teams in taking charge of Galland solutions: equipment, tensioning devices, pendulums, connections, section insulators, not forgetting the rigid catenary (PAC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In partnership with Emspec, Galland supplied all the overhead line equipment for the City of Ottawa&#039;s light rail transit system extension (O-Train Stage 2), an additional 27 km, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>an eastern segment of 12.5 km of double track,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a 14.5 km western segment of double track, including a 3.4 km tunnel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We are very proud to contribute to this major project and to put our expertise to work for sustainable mobility in Ottawa.
