A quality technician, he oversees every step of the manufacturing process with a keen eye for detail and a holistic vision of the product.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Based in Anglade, near Blaye, Alexis Alliaud joined Galland a year and a half ago. A graduate in mechanical engineering and QHSSE, he has already worked in demanding industrial environments such as UNAC, a manufacturer of railway excavators and military vehicles. At Galland, he found what he was looking for: diversity, responsibility, and a structure on a human scale.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n A cross-functional profession, at the heart of production challenges<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cMy job is to ensure that every product, at every stage of its manufacture, meets quality requirements.\u201d<\/em>, he summarizes. Alongside Karine Bellet, his manager, he ensures reception control, in-process checks, management of non-conformities and their possible transmission to suppliers. He also designs control ranges for operators so that they too have precise and accessible verification tools. "This precaution prevents us from any deviation in the process which would force us to restart the entirety of a non-compliant production."<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIt\u2019s diversity that interests me.\u201d<\/em><\/strong> Increased demands with international<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n It is also a responsibility: \u201cA non-compliant product poses a risk to users. We must never forget that.\u201d<\/em> recalls the technician. With the opening of Galland internationally, the level of requirement rises another notch: \u201cFor some customers, factory receptions (FAT) are organized in person or for international customers, by video, where they see us handling the products live in order to check the conformity of the products according to the specifications.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Learn and improve<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Alexis Alliaud envisions himself continuing his career at Galland and one day becoming a quality manager.
