Maria Juliana Chagneau is a rare gem: a sales administration manager (France/Export), communications and events manager, dynamic and cheerful, she holds a position at the crossroads of several worlds. A cross-functional role, enriched by her international experience, her organizational skills, and her love of interacting with people.
Born in Argentina, Maria Juliana grew up in Patagonia, between the southern tip, the subtropical forest of the north, and the Andes Mountains, where her geologist father explored oil fields. This background instilled in her a curiosity about others, their languages, and their cultures from a very young age. As an adult, she pursued higher education in tourism, earning a master's degree while developing her language skills in English, French, Portuguese, and Italian. In 2015, she moved to France with her husband and children. Two years later, she joined Galland: a new adventure began.

Upon her arrival, Maria Juliana was recruited at reception, but her skills quickly led her to a position with broader responsibilities. Today, she works in three areas: sales administration, communication, and the organization of professional events. «My main activity remains sales administration. From an order or contract signed with the client, I ensure the administrative follow-up of orders, deliveries, payments, with French, European clients, but also with many other countries around the world. With my colleague Valérie Laclie, who manages the rest of the clientele, we form a complementary team in service of the clients.».
For the past few years, in conjunction with management, internal teams and the Ka2com agency, she has coordinated communication activities around the "brand" Galland: website content, newsletter, social media posts… «Beyond the technical aspects of overhead line work, Galland conveys a positive image of solidity, experience, agility… and dreams, because everyone loves to travel and discover new horizons. Galland makes this adventure possible too, and what’s more, with the help of a clean means of transport!»
Finally, Maria Juliana participates in managing communication activities and prepares for international trade fairs. «"This visibility is quite new for the company, but essential in a context of increased competition and global growth of rail networks."» justifies the polyglot. What does she appreciate most about her job? «"The complementarity of my missions and what lies at their heart: the relationship with the client. It begins in the commercial department, continues in sales administration and extends to international trade fairs such as InnoTrans in Berlin, SIFER in Lille or Eurasia Rail in Istanbul where we meet partners and prospects.".
