For the past five years, Galland has been actively involved in FERROCAMPUS, an ecosystem of excellence supported by the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region. This involvement allows us to create concrete links between the industrial world and the French National Education system, with a clear ambition: to prepare the talents of tomorrow, starting today.
Among our key initiatives, we support students at the Bernard Palissy high school in Saintes through a multi-year mentoring program, from 10th to 12th grade. The goal is to introduce them to the diverse range of careers in the railway industry, inspire vocations, boost their confidence, and broaden their horizons through inspiring professional paths.
This approach materialized with the signing of an agreement on March 5, 2026 with the rectorate of the academy of Poitiers and the high school, thus affirming a strong and lasting commitment.
Galland is also involved in building the future by contributing to defining the profile of future engineers at the new public engineering school in Saintes, SUPFERRO, dedicated to railway professions. This collaborative work is carried out alongside industry professionals, institutional partners, and research professors from La Rochelle University.
Through these initiatives, Galland confirms its role as an engaged player, determined to strengthen the attractiveness of an innovative and responsible rail sector, while actively participating in the training of the key skills of tomorrow.
