Our company has begun to work with the SYSTA ACADAMIE training center in Poitiers and has supplied it with educational material. Future on-site operators will leave this center having learnt their profession on GALLAND material !

The SYSTRA international group has specialized in engineering and consulting linked with mobility and transport. In particular the RATP and the SNCF are shareholders in the SYSTRA Group. Its founders, as ambassadors of French technology, paved the way for the export of the French catenary in the 90s.

They train on Galland material

The outsourcing of activities that are not integral parts of the SNCF to private players in the sector has led to new needs these last few years : as there is no “catenary” high school certificate it is necessary to train future on-site operators. This is the role that SYSTRA ACADAMIE in Poitiers has taken on and which Galland supports. For example, last June, we supplied the training center with systems of manoeuvre for section isolators. The trainees at the SYSTRA ACADAMIE can now install and train themselves on devices “made in France” ! This is logical seeing that 70% of the material installed on the French railway system comes from our workshops.

A wager on the future

This partnership, like the one we have with the regional cluster FerroCampus in Saintes, is a great source of satisfaction for Galland and a wager on the future : future operators trained at the SYSTRA ACADAMIE will have learnt their profession on our material, and one can well imagine that they will then demand French technology in the future !
